Virtual Pants

The join.app.net project is getting very close to meeting its funding goal of $500,000. As of right now, the project has 7,164 backers funding a total of $487,000. There’s only 39 hours left to go, so if you are on the fence, just give it a shot. The alpha version of the service is already very active and some great third-party apps have already been created. I wasn’t involved in the early days of Twitter, but I’d imagine the excitement is quite similar.
