Web browsers I have known

I’m switching to a new default web browser today (i.e. the browser I use the most on my computer) and that put me in a reminiscing mood. So here are some screenshots of all of the browsers I’ve used as my default for the past 18 years.

A nostalgic timeline of web browsers from Jason Kottke. My experience with default web browsers follows Jason’s very closely starting with Netscape Navigator 3. I even switched to a Mac the same year, 2002. The only difference is that I switched from Safari to Chrome a few months ago and switched back to Safari 6.0 today.
